River View Touring Park, Llanedi, Pontarddulais, Glamorgan
River View Touring Park is a caravan and camp site situated in a beautiful rural location in south-west Wales. It is easily reached from junction 49 of the M4 and other major routes.
The site is south-facing with an abundance of native trees, wildflowers, wildlife and the River Gwili flowing along part of its boundary.
The owners, Keith & Kath live on site and aim to make your stay both enjoyable and peaceful. Since owning the site, we have developed it to a modern 4 star standard whilst still maintaining its rural atmosphere and feeling of tranquility. All the work we have undertaken has been environmentally sensitive and has helped the site achieve the prestigious awards.
Approx. 2 acres, comprising of 27 pitches. This meadow has the River Gwili flowing along two sides of its boundary and is mainly for adults. It is also the most suitable for the physically impaired.
Approx. 2.5 acres of gentle slope comprising of 22 pitches and has boundaries of woodland and tree banks consisting of native trees and some wildflowers. There are also views of surrounding hillsides. Although we do not have play equipment, there is large area for recreation in the centre of the field, making it ideal for families.
Approx 1 acre of level ground and has 11 pitches. This is the smaller of the fields and has gorse bushes on one side and a tree bank on a second side consisting of native trees and wildflowers.
River View Touring Park offers the following facilities for caravans, motor-homes, trailer-tents or tents.
The modern award winning toilet/shower block with underfloor heating and two additional rooms suitable for families and physically impaired has been awarded 5 star grading in the ‘Loo of the Year’ awards 2007, 2008 and 2009 plus \'Best Baby-changing Facilities in Wales\' 2008.

River View Touring Park is ideally situated for exploring many of the lovely beaches of South Wales, The Black Mountain, Brecon Beacons, and Gardens of Wales, including the National Botanic Garden of Wales. The site is an ideal as a stop over for ferries to and from Ireland.
