The George Inn & Millingbrook Lodge in Aylburton offers charming accommodation, delicious food and a bustling bar. Located near Lydney in a peaceful area of Gloucestershire, we are perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Our lodge has been tastefully renovated to offer modern accommodation whilst retaining original Victorian features. We have 14 rooms to choose from and all the rooms include en suite facilities and a flat-screen TV. You can choose from double, family, king and twin rooms. Some rooms are on the ground floor.

We offer a great section of drinks at The George Inn, adjacent to The Millingbrook Lodge. Drinks available include locally sourced real ales, draught beers, ciders, lagers, spirits and wines. You can also relax in the lounge or the beer garden. There is also a play area for children.

Our restaurant offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes, offering freshly cooked home-cooked meals. A specials board is available and in the summer months dine al fresco.

We are the perfect base for visiting Cheltenham, home to restaurants, attractions, theatres and shops. Walk around the Forest of Dean or play a round at Lydney Golf Club. You can take a trip on the Dean Forest Steam Railway. Attractions to visit include:
