Notgrove Holidays offers fabulous self catering accommodation the quaint village of Notgrove. Our gorgeous cottages are based at the 1500-acre private Notgrove Estate in Gloucestershire. We are based a wonderful part of the Cotswolds, the ideal location for exploring Cheltenham, Oxford, Bath and Stratford-upon-Avon.
Our charming 3 and 4 bed contemporary barn conversions are in a delightful courtyard, with all offering modern open plan designs to unwind in. The stylish barns are beautifully furnished and great for large groups when combined. All the barns have a bathroom for each bedroom, a downstairs bedroom and a disabled room for disabled access.
Chestnut Barn sleeps 6, Hazelnut Barn sleeps 8, Cobnut Barn sleeps 8 and Walnut Barn sleeps 8. Hazelnut and Chestnut are interconnecting and can combined to form Wainway Barn, sleeping 14, whilst Cobnut Barn and Walnut Barn can be combined to form Kitehill, sleeping 16. The Grove sleeps 22, which includes the combination of Hazelnut, Cobnut and Chestnut. The Courtyard Accommodation sleeps 30, this is when all the barns are combined.
Chestnut Barn: This fantastic barn is surrounded the stunning countryside and comes with everything you need for an unforgettable holiday. Downstairs there is a large open plan living area with a huge flatscreen TV and modern kitchen. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms. Outside there is a courtyard garden to unwind in.
Hazelnut Barn: Our luxurious barn is ideal for an idyllic countryside retreat. The spacious open plan living area is great for relaxing in and the kitchen comes with a range of appliances. Bedrooms consist of 3 king/twin en suites, plus a further king/twin with use of a family bathroom.
Cobnut Barn: This modern barn conversion offers the perfect alternative to the traditional Cotswold stone cottage holiday getaway. The kitchen is well-equipped and you can relax in the living room. All the bedrooms are made as king/twin rooms, with 3 of the 4 boasting en suite facilities.
Walnut Barn: Our largest cottage is nestled solely on the ground floor and boasts two living rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area for 8 people and a utility room. The 4 bedrooms can be made as a king/twin and all come with en suite facilities.
You can make your stay extra special be hiring Mark Arthurs, a fantastic local chef who can be booked for private dinner parties or special occasion – please enquire for details. You can also pamper yourself with a range of beauty treatments, in the comfort of your own cottage.
All our guests have use of a brilliant range of superb facilities onsite, including a games room, football pitches, bicycle hire, children’s climbing frame and a tennis court which can be booked at £5 per hour. Children will love meeting the animals, including donkeys and goats, all of whom love being fed and cuddled. We also have some very friendly alpacas, pigs and highland cows to meet. You can also explore the 55 acres of wonderful grounds, whilst a range of activities/adventures can be prebooked, including art classes, tennis/football lessons, quad bike riding, foraging courses and yoga classes.
After a busy day, enjoy a bite to eat at The Nuttery, Notgrove’s local village Cafe, just a short stroll away in the village. The Nuttery serves hot and cold refreshments, breakfasts, lunches, snacks, cake and has a small bar menu on select evenings. The cafe is also a fully licensed bar, perfect for a much-needed drink or two.

The area is a paradise for walkers, with three national walking trails cross and border the estate, including The Macmillan Way, Diamond Way and Gloucestershire Way. Also enjoy a tipple at The Plough Inn at Cold Aston or the Black Horse at Naunton, just a short stroll away. You can visit glorious Sudeley Castle or play a round at Nauton Downs Golf Course. A short drive away is the charming town of Bourton on the Water. You can also see the exotic animals at Cotswold Wildlife Park. Further attractions to visit include:
