Forest Oak Farm is a family-run estate near Lydney in Gloucestershire, spread across twenty acres of fields, lakes and mature woodland. It is both a welcoming home and a venue for dog-friendly holidays, training sessions, events and weddings, giving guests plenty of space to wander among trees, picnic by the water or explore the surrounding Forest of Dean.

Accommodation centres on three eco-friendly cottages powered by solar energy and served by an environmentally conscious waste system. Each single-storey cottage faces open fields and hills, with French doors that lead onto a private, fenced patio where you can linger over breakfast or fire up the barbecue on warm evenings, while four-legged companions roam safely beside you.

Rosie Lea sleeps four in a double and a twin bedroom and features a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a flatscreen TV, plus a bathroom with a generous shower and adjacent allocated parking. Cherry Blossom, also for four people, offers a cosy retreat with the same bedroom layout, spacious living–dining space and modern kitchen; it shares the wide valley view from its enclosed patio but does not have wheelchair access. Perry Pears is the largest option and fully wheelchair accessible, combining a double bedroom, a twin room and a roomy open-plan living space that looks onto the garden, along with a separate wet-room style shower. Each cottage includes its own parking bay and plenty of room on the patio for both guests and their canine companions to relax amid the peaceful Gloucestershire countryside.
