The Lower Lode Inn Campsite can be found alongside our 15th Century coaching inn near Tewkesbury. Our campsite is an ideal place for a short break and is only a short walk from local amenities in the centre of Forthampton, Gloucestershire.

Our riverside campsite, with its lush lawns, is perfect for a short break. It offers electric hookups, elsan disposal, drinking water, showers, and toilets. We are dog-friendly and provide waste disposal bins.

The location is excellent for day fishing (permits available from the pub for Upper Lode Fishing Syndicate fishing rights), canoeing, rural walking routes, and for those who simply enjoy fresh air.

Situated between the Malvern and Cotswold Hills, our campsite provides a great base for exploring some of the UK's most charming villages and the stunning Severn Vale countryside. We are also within easy reach of Upton upon Severn and the provincial towns of Cheltenham Spa, Gloucester, and Worcester.

We offer guests and passing customers fine locally sourced, home cooked fayre & real ales give this traditional pub a relaxed & welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on the superb quality of our real ales which are locally sourced. You can be guaranteed a wide and varied selection of guest ales through the summer months and our most popular ales served throughout the winter.

Our Restaurant is very much the hidden treasure of the pub. Tucked away behind oak doors you will find an intimate and cosy setting for your meal or family party/occasion. Accommodating parties of up to 60 people.

Our campsite is on the banks of the River Severn and has stunning views of the Gloucestershire countryside and the Medieval town of Tewkesbury. There are many beautiful walks in the surrounding area and because we welcome dogs this is a place that they can enjoy as well.

Rates: £15 per night no Electric Hookup.

£26 per night with Electric Hookup for 2 people.
