The Old Farmhouse
Details
At The Old Farmhouse, you’ll experience the comfort of a hotel combined with the warmth and charm of a beautifully renovated farmhouse. Situated 350 feet above sea level in 1½ acres of gardens, this historic property, dating back to around 1600, offers breathtaking views of Snowdonia, Cardigan Bay and the Llyn Peninsula. It’s the perfect base for exploring Snowdonia National Park, enjoying scenic walks, or simply relaxing by our heated outdoor swimming pool (open seasonally) while taking in the stunning Welsh coastline.
For those seeking tranquility, our two garden rooms, Rhiannon and Seren, offer magnificent views over Cardigan Bay, the Llyn Peninsula and unforgettable sunsets. Rhiannon is a spacious garden room with a super king-size bed, a single bed and space for an additional folding bed. It features an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, tea and coffee-making facilities and a fridge. Seren offers a cosy retreat with a king-size bed, a settee and the same modern amenities, along with beautiful views of the bay and surrounding gardens.
Inside the farmhouse, we offer additional charming guest bedrooms. Fflur is a lovely room with a king-size bed and a single bed, complete with an en-suite bathroom. Lowri features a comfortable king-size bed and en-suite, while Elen is a single room with a large four-foot single bed and en-suite facilities. All rooms are equipped with en-suite showers or bathrooms, TV, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee-making facilities and hairdryers.
Your hosts, Paul and Christina, are dedicated to providing a warm welcome and excellent service. We pride ourselves on offering traditional comfort with a hearty breakfast served daily between 8:30 am and 9:30 am, with flexible times available upon request. We cater to various dietary needs, including vegetarian and lactose-free options, with prior notice.
The Old Farmhouse is both dog-friendly and welcoming to walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists, with secure storage and a garage for bikes and equipment. We also offer ample private parking. The extensive gardens feature picnic tables, providing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
There is so much to see and do in the area, including:
Snowdonia National Park.
Harlech Castle.
Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber.

Coed Crafnant North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve.
We hope you’ll fall in love with The Old Farmhouse’s charm and character, just as we have, and that your stay in the beautiful surroundings of Snowdonia National Park will be both memorable and one you’ll want to repeat for years to come.
