Wavecrest is a charming seaside guest house overlooking Barmouth's renowned sandy beach and the picturesque North Wales coastline of Cardigan Bay. Step out the front door, cross the promenade and find yourself right on the sand! Many of our rooms offer stunning views of Barmouth Beach and Cardigan Bay, with vistas extending to the foothills of Snowdonia to the north and the Cader Idris range to the south.

Our guest house features 10 bedrooms spread across three floors. Nine of the rooms are en-suite, while one single room has its own private shower and toilet.

Each bedroom is equipped with Freeview flat-screen HD televisions (22" or larger), clock-radio alarms, hairdryers and unlimited tea and coffee-making facilities with fresh milk provided as needed.

Your comfort is our top priority. We predominantly use cotton linen, and our duvets and pillows are filled with duck down and feathers. Blankets and allergy-free pillows are available upon request.

Wavecrest is ideally situated for guests arriving on foot, by bicycle, or by public transport. The town centre, rail and bus stations are all just a short, level five-minute walk away. For those arriving by car, there is ample parking (both paid and free) right outside the guest house.

Barmouth's location on the west coast of North Wales and lying between a mountain range and the sea on the mouth of the river Mawddach is arguably one of the most beautiful locations in Wales. Places to visit include:
