Gwerniago Campsite is located in the heartland of rural Wales, Gwerniago is a working farm run by a Welsh speaking family. The campsite is situated just outside the village of Pennal in the beautiful Dyfi Valley.

Gwerniago has a large camping area of approximately five acres, suitable for fifty pitches.

Facilities include modern toilet and shower block, electrical hookups and a fridge and freezer. We also have a power point for hairdryers etc, a chemical disposal point. Campfires are allowed too. Laundrette onsite.

This campsite is situated 3 miles from Machynlleth on the Aberdyfi road. 15 minutes drive to the nearest beach. 10 minutes walk to the lovely nearby pub which serves excellent food.

The farm has a wide variety of animals including cows, sheep and horses.

Pennal is the southernmost tip of the ancient Kingdom of Gwynedd, still remembered today as the County of Gwynedd, Pennal is near Machynlleth,a medieval market town which is 3 miles away inland on the A493. Pennal is famous for its church its people and its beautiful location.

Rates: From £22 - £30 per pitch per night based in 2 sharing. Extra people are charged at £7 pppn, Children 2 – 16 at £4 pppn.

Children and pets are extra.
