Ty Mawr
Details
Ty Mawr offers traditional farmhouse Bed and Breakfast on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. For the past 34 years, guests from around the world have returned to our 300-acre dairy farm in Valley, near Holyhead.
Our house is set in a lovely garden, surrounded by open pasture land with uninterrupted views of the Snowdonia mountain range.
The twin bedroom has comfortable beds, tea/coffee making facilities and towelling robes. The window offers a picturesque view of the garden and farm fields. There is a spacious bathroom with a toilet, wash hand basin and bath, as well as a separate shower room.
Downstairs, guests can relax in a comfortable sitting room with a three-piece suite and TV. The window provides direct views across the fields to the Snowdon mountain range. Also downstairs is a cloakroom with a toilet and wash hand basin.
We offer facilities for drying clothes or boots if needed, and a secure place to store bicycles overnight.
After a restful night's sleep, you can enjoy either a continental or cooked breakfast.
The villages of Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn, with their sandy beaches ideal for safe bathing, are just a 5-minute drive away. For those wishing to explore further, the Sustrans National Cycle Route 8 passes the rear entrance to our farm and the Anglesey Coastal Footpath is within 1 mile, offering access to the island’s 125-mile coastline.
