Borthwnog Hall offers bed and breakfast accommodation in Bontddu, set within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Its peaceful location provides an ideal base for exploring nearby Dolgellau and the many attractions throughout Gwynedd.

Our country building offers lots of character and boasts a large reef aquarium in the dining room, home to surgeon fish, yellow tangs, clownfish, marine invertebrates and many other species.

We have a range of bedrooms available, offering something for everyone. The Deluxe Suite has French doors that open to a balcony and offers views of the river Mawddach and the Cambrian mountains. Our King Room comes with an en suite shower and the balcony enjoys views of the estuary and mountains. The Family Suite has a twin and a double room that shares a family bathroom.

All the rooms include a TV with connected Kaleidescape, tea and coffee-making facilities and a fridge. Apart from the family room, all the rooms have en suite facilities.

We are in a great spot for discovering all that the area has to offer. You can hike around the Cambrian Mountains, Snowdon and the Rhinogs. Locally there are castles, beaches, museums and steam railways. Attractions to visit include:
