Boundary House Cottage is a thatched property that stands in the grounds of a larger thatched property. It provides well equipped and comfortable self-catering accommodation in an idyllic spot. It is located in the heart of the New Forest just five minutes from the picturesque ancient village of Beaulieu and is ideal for couples, friends or families wanting a forest break.
From the private gravel drive, a front door flanked by two bay trees leads into the hallway and kitchen. This is a light and airy space that is well equipped to include a:
Retro red fridge.
The open plan living/dining room has a gas log stove, 40" HDTV, DVD player, DAB radio, iPod docking station and Wi-Fi. Also on the ground floor is the garden-facing bathroom and the master bedroom, with Hypnos bed fitted with an electric blanket and furniture by Oka, plus plenty of storage along a wall of shelves/hanging space, bedside tables with lamps and a retro-style DAB radio. French doors lead to the covered terrace and the garden.
Upstairs there is a double/twin room and a cosy single room (ideal for a child). The double has French doors which lead onto a balcony.
Outside is a covered terrace and garden with seating.
There are plenty of attractions to visit close by such as Beaulieu Abbey, the National Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens.
Boundary House Cottage is well stocked with local information. The owner, a publisher of walking and photography guides and books, has lived in Boundary House all his life and he and his wife, a travel writer, are more than happy to advise you further during your stay.
