Our charming thatched cottage sits on the edge of one of England’s finest fishing rivers, tucked away at the end of a private track and surrounded by acres of breathtaking countryside. This peaceful retreat promises complete seclusion, with only the distant sounds of wildlife to break the silence. The main cottage sleeps up to 4 guests, while the adjoining fishing lodge offers accommodation for an additional 2, making it an ideal choice for families or small groups seeking a tranquil getaway.

This character-driven house has been finished to the highest standards whilst offering a warm and friendly atmosphere. Features include exposed beams, chunky flagstone floors with underfloor heating and unique windows that offer scenic countryside views and beautiful furnishings.

A striking double-height oak framed living room offers the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring the area. A toasty log burner will keep you warm in the winter months and you can catch your favourite show on the TV, with a dongle offering access to the iPlayer, Netflix and Amazon Prime etc. A DVD player, radio and a collection of games are also available. French doors open onto the patio and the stunning river views.

Rustle up a feast in the fully-equipped handmade kitchen that includes an electric range cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine, large Neff fridge with wine storage and freezer. Savour some delicious meals around the dining table whilst enjoying the spectacular views. A utility room comes with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs there is a lavish master bedroom with a vaulted beamed ceilings and dual-aspect windows that offers delightful views. Enjoy a restful night’ sleeps in a king-size antique bed. Downstairs there is a further double room with river views. The self-contained Fishing Lodge includes a superb en suite bedroom with two antique cast iron single beds. Patio doors open onto the private sun terrace and further facilities in the lodge include a smart TV, tea and coffee-making facilities and a little fridge.

The main house bathroom includes an opulent freestanding roll-top bath for two to soak yourself, whilst the lodge has an en suite shower room. A downstairs toilet is also in the main house.

Our beautiful grounds feature three tranquil ponds and a sun-soaked paved terrace at the front of the house, complete with a dining table, chairs, loungers and a barbecue, perfect for al fresco meals while taking in the views. Guests can also spot a variety of wildlife, from deer, badgers and foxes to birds of prey and kingfishers. For a truly unique experience, we offer exclusive private fishing on the Hampshire Avon, along with the chance to enjoy wild swimming in the river.
