Avon Accommodation is situated on the edge of the historic market town of Ringwood in Hampshire. It can be found above the Old Cottage Restaurant, which is one of the oldest buildings in Ringwood dating back many centuries. The path of the River Avon embraces the garden on its way to the sea at Christchurch. The market place and town centre with its many shops, pubs and restaurants is a few minutes’ walk from us.

There are two self catering first floor apartment suites above the restaurant: Avon View & Avon Mist.

Avon View sleeps up to four - This apartment has a steep staircase from the restaurant leading into:

Lounge area with sofa bed, flat screen smart TV, DVD player, DVD Library, radio and CD player, folding dining table with 4 chairs and electric wood burner.

Equipped compact kitchen that is suitable for light cooking and snacks, with sink and combination microwave, electric hob, toaster, fridge and folding prep table.

Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, flat screen Freeview TV, DVD player, full length mirror, iron & ironing board, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

En suite bathroom with bath/shower, basin and WC.

Avon Mist ideally suited for up to four occupants; however there are two fold up beds which are only suitable for small children. This apartment has a steep staircase from the restaurant leading to:

Lounge area with large fitted wardrobes, flat screen Freeview TV, DVD player, DVD library, radio/CD player, dining table with 4 chairs and electric coal effect fire.

Equipped mini kitchen suitable for light cooking and making snacks, with microwave, electric hob, toaster, fridge with ice box, sink and folding prep table.

Large bedroom with double bed, flat screen Freeview TV, DVD player, triple wardrobe, bedside cabinets, bedside lamps, small table with two tub chairs, full length mirror, iron & ironing board, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facility.

Small bedroom with two single beds, chest of drawers and bedside lamp.

The shower room consisting of shower, small basin and toilet is accessible through the small bedroom.

Both apartments are dog friendly. There will be no extra charge for your dog, providing no damage is done and no extra cleaning is required. Please let us know when booking if you would like to bring your dog as conditions apply.

Ringwood sits between two forests: Ringwood forest with its wealth of pine trees, cycle paths & Moors Valley Country Park and the New Forest National Park which offers thousands of acres of moor, heath and woodlands where ponies and cattle roam free. You may also see wild deer, foxes, badger, rabbits and indigenous birds. Both forests are fantastic for exploring whether on foot, bike or horse.
