The Kings Head Hotel is a beautiful former Coaching Inn dating back to the 14th Century and is situated in centre of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. The Kings Head oozes character and historic charm with warm open fireplaces and a wealth of traditional oak beams and offers fabulous food coupled with comfortable beds and a great night’s stay.
The King’s Head Hotel has fifteen guestrooms; each with full en suites and either a shower over bath or walk in shower. We have a range of well appointed guest rooms ranging from stunning four poster rooms, to doubles, twins, triples and generous family rooms.

Ross on Wye is a small market town nestling alongside the meandering River Wye. It is an ideal base to explore the surrounding countryside, including the Forest of Dean, The Brecon Beacons, Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds. We are also great stopping off point for trips to Cardiff or even racing at Chepstow or Cheltenham.
