Oaker Wood is an outdoor activity & glamping centre set in 175 acres of mature woodland in Herefordshire, close to the Welsh border.

We specialise in group glamping for between 12 and 120 people, including family reunions and parties, stag and hen weekends, rugby sports tours, corporate away camps and school residential trips.

We have 2 entirely separate glamping villages and offer all group bookings exclusivity in one of the villages, for a minimum of 12 people. Each village has its own facilities, covered dining area, cooking facilities, fire circle and barbecue hut.

The accommodation consists of wooden glamping pods, equipped with electric lights and heaters for the colder months. Each pod sleeps up to 8 people in bunk beds, with sheets provided, just bring your own sleeping bags, duvets, and pillows. Each glamping site is equipped with heated showers and toilets for your comfort.

Each village features a central dining and cooking cabin, fully equipped with all necessary cooking equipment, pans, crockery and utensils, as well as fridges, a gas oven, barbecue, microwave, toaster and kettle. At the heart of each glamping site is a fire circle with fixed seating, providing plenty of space for your group to gather around the fire. Our school and youth residentials, as well as corporate camps, can be catered or self-catered, while stag and hen weekends, and glamping for friends and families, are self-catered.

Electric car charging is available at an extra cost, be sure to enquire when booking.

Peace is of the essence as mobile signal is limited - so you can truly get away from it all.

Bookings at our glamping villages are for groups only – min 12 people - and can be combined with a range of on-site outdoor activities, all on your doorstep – quad bike trekking, paintball, high rope adventures, climbing, escape room, rafting, clay pigeon shooting, target shooting, low rope assault course and more.
