The Old Court Guest House in Ross-On-Wye offers charming accommodation. Nestled at the top of a hill in Herefordshire, we are perfect for a tranquil getaway.

Our guest house is thought to be the oldest stone house in Ross and now offers high-quality accommodation. From the top of the hill, there are wonderful views over the Hereford Valley and the river Wye. We can supply cutlery, plates and cereal bowls for guests who would like to bring their own breakfast.

We have 4 bedrooms to choose from. Room 1 has a double bed and offers views of the high street. Room 2 has a double bed and enjoys views of the garden.

Room 3 has a single bed and offers views of the high street. Room 4 has a king-size bed and 2 single beds, plus 3 armchairs. A window offers views of the high street and the alcove also gives a view of the rooftops and the St Mary’s Church tower. A camp bed can be provided for no extra cost.

All the rooms come with an en suite shower, TV, complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits and bottled water in the fridge.

Outside we have a hilltop garden that offers countryside views and a deck with a table and chairs to unwind on.

We are ideally placed for exploring Ross-On-Wye, home to river and hilltop walks. Lots of sports can be enjoyed, including horse riding, group cycling and regattas on the river. A short walk from us there are breakfast cafes, a hairdresser and restaurants. Attractions to visit include:

Goodrich Castle.

Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo.

King Arthur's Cave.

Hereford Cathedral.

National Trust - Berrington Hall.
