Crubenbeg Country House offers a warm and welcoming retreat in the heart of the vast and wild Cairngorms National Park. It's the perfect place to relax and take in the stunning scenery or head out and explore it for yourself. A variety of local walks begin right from the doorstep, including a peaceful riverside path leading to the Falls of Truim, or a rewarding climb up Crubenbeg behind the house, where you'll be treated to sweeping views across the Spey Valley to the west and Glen Truim to the east.
We have 4 large and beautifully furnished rooms to choose from. All rooms are thoughtfully equipped with complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities including a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, refreshing mountain water and sweet treats. Guests can also enjoy free WiFi, comfortable seating, Freeview TV, a hairdryer, cosy fleece dressing gowns, a hot water bottle and a Guest Information folder to help make the most of their stay.
Stag
Stag, located on the first floor, is our largest and most spacious room, a bright and airy guest room featuring a luxurious king-size four-poster bed and two comfortable armchairs perfectly positioned to take in the panoramic views through the large bay window. The room also includes a generous en-suite with a full-sized bath, shower over bath and WC. Ample storage ensures plenty of space for your belongings, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy the comfort and charm of Stag.
Pine Marten
Pine Marten is a generously sized ground floor room featuring a luxurious super-king-size bed, perfect for unwinding in comfort. The spacious en-suite includes a large double-width power shower, wash hand basin and WC. With its own private entrance leading out to the garden and a ramp from a dedicated parking space, the room is fully accessible. All facilities meet Category One accessibility standards, making it suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, including those using an unassisted wheelchair.
Osprey
Osprey, located on the first floor, is a bright and sunny bedroom offering stunning views through two large picture windows. Comfortable armchairs provide the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery before retreating to the luxurious super-king-size bed. The room also features a spacious en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, WC and plenty of space for your toiletries.
Capercaillie
Capercaillie, also located on the first floor, is a comfortable double room popular with both couples and solo travellers. It features a private shower room just a step across the landing, equipped with a shower cubicle, wash-hand basin and WC.
In addition to our breakfasts, we offer delicious three-course set menu dinners served in our dining room (please enquire when booking, with at least two days' notice required). For a more relaxed setting, our guest lounge provides the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or coffee while taking in the beautiful views from a cosy armchair by the fire.

Cairngorm National Park is one of Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes and home to a wide range of wildlife. The lochs offer water sports, canoeing and fishing activities while dryland provides incredible safaris and overland quad biking adventures. Lots of attractions are nearby, including:

Newtonmore Golf Club.
Children over 12 years old only are welcome.
Dogs welcome by arrangement in one of the rooms, The Pine Marten, £10 per dog, per stay.
