Aviemore Lodges - Riverside Lodge & Strathy House offers luxurious self catering accommodation in Aviemore. Our properties are based in riverside, forest and mountain-top positions, perfect for a special holiday in Inverness-shire.

Riverside Lodge

We offer a contemporary Scandinavian style house with a separate garden apartment which is finished to a high standard. Inside there is an open plan living/dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. The living area has Sky TV.

In total, we have 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 double with a seating area and 1 twin. All the bedrooms include en suite facilities which have a shower, plus a bathroom in the large double room.

Outside we have a lawn and decking area with a BBQ for al fresco dining. We have an external sauna area which includes a freezer and washing machine.

Strathy House

Our newly refurbished house dates from the 1960s and offers stylish accommodation. The property offers an open style and includes designer wallpapers by Marie Helena and Designers Guild and 1960’s Harrods sofas.

We have a large kitchen/diner with a range of appliances: Range cooker, American-style fridge freezer and AEG appliances.

We have two spaces to unwind in, a living area with a TV and wood-burning stove and a separate TV room. The rooms both include large UHD TV’s with SKY, Netflix and Bose sound system.

There are 3 kings and 2 twin bedrooms, including 2 en suites, 1 family bath/shower room and 1 private shower room. All the bathrooms include rainfall showers and marble basins. 3 of the doubles have a TV.

Outside we have an enclosed winter garden courtyard including a patio seating area with a BBQ. A woodland path leads to the banks of the River Druie.

We are based in a beautiful location and are perfect for exploring Rothiemurchus Estate, home to outdoor activities, a cafe and a shop. You can walk to Aviemore which has bars shops and restaurants. Attractions to visit include:

Highland Folk Museum.

Strathspey Steam Railway.

Whisky Trail.

Golf Courses.
