Whistle Hollow, Baldrane, Isle of Man
Whistle Hollow is well appointed and beautifully decorated holiday home situated in the pretty village of Baldrine on the East coast of the Isle of Man. The village is located between the main town of Douglas and the village of Laxey, famous for the Lady Isabella Waterwheel, the largest in the world, and the unique Snaefell Mountain Railway. It is on the Coastal Footpath and close to the unspoilt Garwick Beach.
Our holiday home is a traditional Manx cottage of the late 1700's. It has been sympathetically restored and fully equipped and combines old world charm with up to date amenities. It is fully equipped for family holidays and there is a comprehensive selection of guides, DVDís, etc. describing the Isle of Man's rich heritage.
The self catering cottage sleeps 2 - 3 people. There is a living room with an open fire, a large bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and bath and a lobby. Facilities include central heating, ironing facilities and laundry, plus radio, television and video. Children are welcome and a cot and high chair are available. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside is a secluded cottage garden has a pond and a stream which runs down the Glen to Garwick Beach, about 10 minute walk through the village.
The Isle of Man is renowned for the wonderful scenery, motorsport, history, walking and the vintage railways. New visitors comment on the diversity of the scenery and the many holiday activities of the Isle of Man, more than they can fit in during one vacation. The island is a place that guests of all ages can enjoy and will want to return to time and time again.
