The Inn At Àird a' Bhàsair is one of the oldest inns on Skye and offers a place where residents and non-residents can rest, relax and recuperate. Whether you are staying in one of our comfortable guest rooms or visiting us for a bite to eat and something to drink, we look forward to welcoming you. The inn is a short distance from Armadale and is ideally suited to those travelling to and from the ferry to Mallaig. It is an excellent base from which to explore the world-renowned sites of Skye as well as the island's newest distillery at Torabhaig just four miles up the road.

Our guest rooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. We have the following guest rooms available: suites, double and twin rooms. The majority of our rooms have lovely views of the surrounding woodland or across the water of the Sound of Sleat. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities as well as a miniature of our Gold award-winning “Tè Bheag” Gaelic Whisky, plus en suite facilities.

We have two bar areas at the inn and a restaurant. The Bothan Bar is dog friendly and they even have their own menu! This is a cosy place to sit, with live sports being shown here over the winter months. The welcoming MacNamara Bar offers a choice of good Scottish cuisine, including Fearann Eilean Iarmain venison, shellfish and seafood. As a traditional Scottish venue, we also have a good selection of whiskies and gins available at the bar. This includes our own, multi-award-winning Gaelic Whiskies & Gaelic Gins.

The Isle of Skye is a wonderful place to visit. It is home to breathtaking scenery and fascinating attractions and places of interest. Just half a mile from the inn is Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museums. Visitors can explore magnificent gardens, visit an award-winning museum and admire the ruins, alternatively, there are many fantastic walking/hiking routes, photographic safaris and workshops and off-road adventures.
