Shorefield Cottage in Portnalong offers delightful self catering, nestled on a stunning setting overlooking Loch Harport. We boast amazing views of Cuillins and MacLeod Tables, perfect for an idyllic holiday on the Isle of Skye.

Our cottage has been awarded 4 stars from Visit Scotland and has been finished to a high standard. This purpose-built accommodation comes with a large lounge to unwind in after a day exploring. Facilities include a flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, music system and digital radio. French doors open to the patio area.

The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of facilities: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven/hob with extractor hood and washing machine. A dining area comes with a large oak dining table and seating for 6.

We have 3 bedrooms: 1 master king en suite, 1 south facing twin and 1 south facing double room with a sleigh bed and sea views. The master room includes shaker furniture and a flat-screen satellite TV. The main bathroom has a double-ended bath and overhead power shower.

Outside we have a garden area with furniture and a BBQ for alfresco dining over a glass or two.

We are close to lots of village amenities, including 2 pubs that serve food and offer live entertainment. In the nearby village of Carbost, there is a village shop, post office and local medical practice. Only a 5-minute drive away is the Talikser Distillery. Local activities to enjoy include hillwalking, kayaking, mountaineering and fishing. Attractions to visit include:
