There is an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room which has a leather settee (also doubles as a sofabed), electric stove fire, flat screen TV/DVD, radio/CD/iPod docking station as well as a well-equipped kitchen area.
The table and chairs in the self catering accommodation are well placed at the large window where the view towards the Cuillin Hills is breathtaking.
Minimorn kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, a range of pots/pans/crockery etc.
A range of books and games is provided within the holiday cottage and a small DVD library is available on request from the main house. In addition to the electric stove fire, Minimorn also has electric heating.
There is a double bedroom which has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room which completes the accommodation. The cottage has one step to enter, but is otherwise on one level.
Guests staying in the self catering cottage are welcome to use any part of the garden areas and are always welcome to sit outside and enjoy the scenery or explore the many sun traps which are on offer!
There is no shortage of ways to spend your holiday on Skye. The island has something to offer everyone. Ardmorn is a short drive from both Talisker Distillery (Skye's only distillery) and Dunvegan Castle (the ancestral home of the Chiefs of Clan MacLeod).
There are many sites of historic interest, with intriguing and romantic tales abounding. From Flora McDonald to the MacLeods of Dunvegan Castle, from brochs to piping museums, Skye is steeped in history. There are many places to visit in our corner of North Skye alone and Ardmorn is within a comfortable drive of all parts of the island.
