Broad Reach offers luxurious self-catering accommodation in the Highlands, nestled on the magical peninsula of Waternish. The modern, purpose-built eco-construction provides highly insulated warm, comfortable and spacious living areas. From its elevated position, the house presents spectacular wrap-around views over the conservation fishing village of Stein, the picturesque waters of Lochbay and Loch Dunvegan and across the Minch, to dramatic sunsets over the Outer Isles of the Hebrides beyond.

Sheltered entrance door into the mudroom changing area and tiled utility room with Belfast sink, oak worktops, Bosch washing machine and tumble drier. Hooks for outdoor clothing. Second entrance door leading into the main house is oak-floored throughout.

High vaulted entrance hall leading to L-shaped living room, also with high vaulted space above with wood-burning stove and comfortable sitting area with wide sliding windows onto outside decking area for summer sundowners. Lounge leads into dining area, also with opening full height windows and then into the modern fitted kitchen. Kitchen has Neff double oven, microwave, separate freezer and fridge, large fitted sliding larder, dishwasher, ample cupboard and drawer space.

On the ground floor, the hallway leads to the main fully tiled bathroom with bath and shower and to a second bedroom which can be available as either double or twin, as requested in advance. The downstairs bedroom is next to the bathroom, both of which are set apart from the other main living areas.

Stairs from the hall access a large en-suite bedroom with a super-king-sized bed and walk-in wardrobe. The en-suite shower room is fully tiled with large heated towel rail. From this bedroom is a feature bridge overlooking the living areas below.

Original art, stained glass and oak beams combine creatively and in surprising ways. A large decking area through the wide sliding windows is set within a lawn for sundowners in summer.

Outside: The house is approached by its own driveway and there is ample parking and a surrounding gravel path. Broad Reach is set within the owners’ croft to which access is available upon request and depending on livestock movements.
