Kemphill offers three self-catering barns for your holiday stay on the Isle of Wight. Perched atop a hill, the barns provide sweeping views of 200 acres of rolling pasture and 50 acres of forestry. The woodland, which is part of a fully sustainable 10-year management plan, offers stunning walks year-round and supplies the fuel for the biomass heating system used by all the properties.

The Old Dairy

This charming Edwardian building, made from local brick and clay tiles, blends traditional character with modern comfort. The entrance hall leads to a spacious farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room with a gas/electric range and a west-facing wall of floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows that open onto a fenced patio and garden. The floor also includes a utility room, a separate W.C, and three double bedrooms with 6' zip/link beds. Each bedroom has an en-suite, with one being wheelchair-friendly and one room includes an extra single bed. Upstairs there is a galleried sitting room with a vaulted ceiling and original beams which overlooks the kitchen and offers stunning countryside views. Two beamed double bedrooms are on this floor, each with 6' zip/link beds and en-suite facilities. A large, floor-to-gable window, replacing the old barn door, provides access to the patio, where guests can enjoy a barbecue and watch the sunset over the unspoiled countryside.

Kemphill Barn

This spacious, self-contained unit comfortably sleeps 10 guests in 4 en-suite bedrooms, with full central heating and ample parking. The ground floor features a large, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen/diner with a range-style gas/electric cooker and French doors leading to an enclosed patio/garden, along with a utility room, a separate W.C., a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a king-size double/twin room with a wet room. Upstairs, the sitting room has a cast iron stove, and there are two additional bedrooms: one with an en-suite bathroom, two single beds and a cabin bed accessed by a step-ladder and the other, accessed by its own staircase, with a large double/twin bed, an additional single and an en-suite bathroom.

Kemphill Granary

This beautifully converted 18th-century barn retains its historic charm, with original features like oak beams and large doors, now panoramic windows, in the open-plan sitting room. The spacious interior includes a dining area, sitting room and fully equipped kitchen, with French doors leading to a large patio, BBQ and child-friendly walled garden. An overhead gantry provides a stunning farm vista and a mezzanine deck offers a cosy space with a TV, DVD player, books and games. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms both 6ft zip link beds and en suite bathrooms. On the first floor, bedrooms 3 & 4 also have zip link beds and en suite showers. on the second floor, bedroom 5 has a zip link bed with en suite bathroom.
