Woods Meadow Glamping is situated in a picturesque field on our family farm, in the Kentish village of Ryarsh, just outside of West Malling. With over 40 years of farming history, the farm remains a working arable operation. Located near the foot of the North Downs, it offers easy access to local villages like West Malling and Ryarsh, where you’ll find a wide selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

Each luxury glamping lodge accommodates 5-6 people and is designed with comfort in mind. The lodges feature a fully equipped kitchen, a private shower room, a furnished outdoor decking area with south-facing views and an outdoor fire pit with a BBQ grill. Bedding, towels and on-site parking are all included, ensuring a relaxing and convenient countryside escape.

Edward Bear Lodge

The lodge comfortably sleeps up to six guests, featuring two double beds (one pull-down over the dining area and a double sofa bed) plus two single beds on a mezzanine floor. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a double oven, 4-burner hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with a freezer compartment. Guests enjoy the convenience of an ensuite shower room with a heated towel rail, three radiators for year-round warmth, WiFi and a smart TV. All linen and towels are provided and the outdoor space includes a dining area and a fire pit BBQ. Parking for up to two cars is available adjacent to the lodge.

Woodpecker Lodge

Woodpecker Lodge accommodates up to six guests and features a double bed converted from the dining table, a set of bunk beds and a single sofa bed with a trundle bed. The lodge includes a fitted kitchen with a combination microwave oven with grill, a 2-burner hob and a fridge with a freezer compartment. An ensuite shower room with a heated towel rail adds convenience, while a radiator ensures year-round cosiness. Guests can enjoy WiFi, a smart TV and an outdoor dining area with a fire pit BBQ. Dog-friendly with a £20 surcharge, the lodge also provides parking for up to two cars and includes all linen and towels for a comfortable stay.

Squirrel Lodge

Squirrel Lodge sleeps up to five guests, featuring a double bed, two single beds on a mezzanine floor and a single sofa day bed. The fitted kitchen includes a combination microwave oven with grill, a 2-burner hob, a dishwasher and a fridge with a freezer compartment. A shower room with a heated towel rail and clothes airer ensures added convenience. The lodge is equipped with WiFi, a smart TV and a radiator for year-round comfort. Dog-friendly for a £20 surcharge, Squirrel Lodge includes all linen and towels, as well as adjacent parking for up to two cars.

The Dormouse House

The Dormouse House is a one-of-a-kind octagonal lodge, thoughtfully designed to provide a unique and comfortable stay. Accommodating up to six guests, it features a king-size four-poster bed, three single futon sofa chair-beds on the mezzanine with woodland views and a single sofa bed on the ground floor. The lodge includes a fitted kitchen with a combination microwave oven with grill, a 2-burner hob, a dishwasher and a fridge with a freezer compartment. Guests enjoy the convenience of an en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail, cosy radiators for year-round warmth and both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Complete with a fire pit BBQ, all linen and towels provided and adjacent parking for up to two vehicles, this is a truly distinctive retreat.

Onsite there is a woodland play area for kids featuring a scavenger hunt, mud kitchen, dress-up corner and more.

We are ideally located for exploring London and the South-East, with trains from nearby West Malling (1 mile) reaching London Victoria and Charing Cross in under an hour. The Channel Ports, historic Canterbury and Rochester with its Dickensian high street, castle and cathedral, are all within an hour’s drive. Closer to home, West Malling offers shops and restaurants and Maidstone, just 6 miles away, boasts museums and an art gallery. For active adventures, enjoy Go Ape, St Andrews Lake Aqua Park, or Diggerland, as well as local parks, play areas and walking or cycling trails starting right from your lodge.

Pets welcome by arrangement in some of the units, £20 per pet, per stay, please advise when booking if you would like to bring a pet with you.
