Alpaca Lodge Glamping is set within the tranquil grounds of Fifield Lodge in Borden, Kent. It includes a self-contained six-bed apartment and three luxurious glamping pods, each with private toilet/shower facilities and a shared kitchen cabin. Friendly alpacas roam freely, often joining guests in the vintage barn, alongside other animals like pigs, goats, chickens and peacocks, creating a charming countryside escape.

Experience the best of glamping in our luxurious, heated pods, perfect for family staycations year-round in a stunning countryside setting. Each pod, designed for 4-6 guests, features a double bed, bunk beds (or triple bunks), Freeview TV, internet, USB sockets, bedside lights and a room heater, with all bed linen and towels provided. Outside, enjoy your own picnic table, firepit with wood supplied and a communal BBQ area set amongst silver birch trees. The shower and kitchen cabin offers spacious private wet rooms for each pod, complete with luxury toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with everything from appliances to essentials like coffee, tea, spices and cleaning supplies.

Alpaca Lodge

Alpaca Lodge's first-floor sitting room and bedroom are stylishly furnished with garden views where alpacas and goats graze peacefully. The sitting room features a sofa, twin daybeds, a dining table for six and a TV, while the bedroom offers two double beds, a chest of drawers and another TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and all essentials like coffee, tea, spices and cleaning supplies. The ground floor houses the shower and toilet, with patio doors opening to an outdoor seating area perfect for alfresco dining on warm evenings.

Onsite Facilities

The heated, covered swimming pool is open from 1st May to 30th September. With built-in steps at the shallow end and a depth of 2.2 metres at the deep end, it’s perfect for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Our vintage-style open-sided barn is a versatile space for leisure, dining and relaxation. It features toys and games for all ages, plenty of seating, heaters for cooler evenings, and is fully stocked with vintage crockery, cutlery, glasses and a tea and coffee station for year-round enjoyment.

The wooded garden provides a fantastic setting to spend an evening in with several BBQs and firepits, perfect for cooking and toasting marshmallows under the night sky.

Visiting the Area

Nearby are dozens of country paths to explore, leading over meadows and into woods, where you can enjoy Kent at its finest. We are within a short drive to Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Chatham Historic Dockyard, Whitstable, Rochester and in about an hour you could be in London or seaside towns such as Ramsgate and Broadstairs.​
