Wastock Farm Barns are a pair of self catering holiday homes, located in the Kent countryside, on a farm outside of Chiddingstone near Edenbridge. Our holiday cottages are in The Weald of Kent, with fine views to the North Downs. The farm is mostly pasture, and has a flock of sheep, sometimes cattle and pigs. Each Easter the numbers are swelled by new lambs.

Hay Barn: This holiday home has one double bedroom with twin zip/link bed, making twins or a double. There is a living room with dining table, kitchen area, wood burning stove and a wall of glazing with French doors. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes Bosch kitchen equipment, 4 ring induction hobs, dishwasher, fridge/icebox, washer/dryer and a microwave with grill. In the lounge there is a TV with Sky Freeview, DVD player and a music centre.

French doors open into a walled landscaped courtyard with stone & brick paver surfaces and raised flower beds, divided from Straw Barn by a gate and shrubs.

Straw Barn: A cosy holiday cottage that has two double bedrooms, each with twin zip/link beds, making twins or a double. The living room is open plan and has a dining table, kitchen area, wood burning stove and a wall of glazing with French doors. Bosch kitchen equipment is provided and consists of a 4 ring induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/icebox, wash dryer and a microwave with grill. The bathroom has an Aquability bath, hand shower, WC and handbasin. Facilities at the holiday cottage include TV with DVD player and Sky Freeview & a music centre.

This area of West Kent is famous for its Tudor homes - Penshurst Place, Hever Castle, Knole Park & Ightham Mote - and for the Tudor street at Chiddingstone. Churchill’s home at Chartwell, Westerham, is within 6 miles and there are many other charming villages and attractions for visitors. Nearby golf courses include Hever Castle, Villa Golf, Sweetwoods, Nizels, Knole Park, The Nevill & Tunbridge Wells. It is also a popular area for walking. Watstock is on the Eden Valley Walk. Ashdown Forest is some 7 miles away.

You will have a wide choice of nearby restaurants and pubs, many supplying real ale from the local Larkins Brewery.
