The Rose and Crown is a village pub that also provides comfortable accommodation, locally sourced food and a great selection of beers and wine. The pub is located within the heart of Elham village which is on the main road between Canterbury and Folkestone, Kent. This is a good point to stop for anyone doing the Elham Valley walk.
There are 6 en suite guest bedrooms available which are of a country style. All rooms include a flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, ironing facilities and complimentary toiletries. Most rooms have access to our Wi-Fi and there is plenty of parking on site.
All of our prices include breakfast in the morning. Breakfast includes a full English, choice of cereals, orange juice, milk, tea or coffee.
The food served at the pub is cooked to order and uses locally sourced ingredients where possible.
The patio to the rear of the pub is a pleasant sun trap and there is a children’s play area in the large garden. There is also a canopy for those wetter or extra hot days.
There are many places to go walking around the pub and lots to discover in the nearby Canterbury. Canterbury is a cathedral city that has ancient walls, cobbled streets and timber framed houses. The city has plenty of shops, places to eat and lots of attractions such as Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey, Canterbury Roman Museum and Howletts Wild Animal Park.
