Craigpark House is a beautifully restored Victorian villa set in a peaceful semi-rural location just outside the village of Caldercruix in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. Situated in the heart of Scotland’s central belt, it offers a perfect base for exploring both Glasgow and Edinburgh while enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside.

Lovingly renovated, Craigpark House Bed and Breakfast combines elegant charm with modern comfort. Each room is furnished to a high standard, providing a welcoming and restful retreat for guests. The property features a range of thoughtfully decorated en suite rooms. Nae View is a bright and airy ground-floor room with twin or super king options, a memory foam mattress and calming purple and cream tones. Its large double-fronted window looks out over the front garden. Church View offers a spacious super king or twin arrangement, with a large bay window and an open outlook, decorated in soothing natural colours. Hill View is a cosy single en suite room located at the rear of the property, decorated in fresh cream and turquoise, perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. Lea View features a double memory foam bed and is finished in relaxing shades of cream, green and pink. All rooms are equipped with bathrobes, blackout curtains, tea and coffee-making facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer and a desk.

Guests can unwind in the cosy lounge, which offers plenty of comfortable seating, reading materials and tourist information. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, with a menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients such as Scottish smoked salmon with poached eggs on a toasted bagel. For those with early departures, a substantial packed lunch can be provided in place of breakfast.

It also benefits from excellent transport links, with the main Glasgow to Edinburgh railway line just a five-minute walk away at Caldercruix station. From there, Glasgow can be reached in about 30 minutes and Edinburgh in around 40. Airdrie town centre and Monklands Hospital are just a ten-minute drive or a short train ride away.
