Calder Farm Campsite is in a beautiful part of Lancashire, in Bolton by Bowland near Clitheroe. Our campsite is a great place for all, so whether you are a couple, family or one person and their dog, we look forward to welcoming you. For those looking for horse holidays, we are ideal. We can provide stabling, grazing and an arena.

At our campsite, we have 16 hardstanding pitches available as well as additional grass areas. Electric hook-up is available, so please advise when booking if you would like this facility. Other onsite amenities include:

Heated toilet block with showers and washing up area.

Recently constructed toilet block with disabled and family shower room.

Beautifully clean site.

In addition to our camping facilities, we also have 2 camping pods available. They are perfect for those who want a camping experience, with the added luxuries of heating, no pitching a tent, a proper bed and private bathroom facilities.

With wonderful views all around it is a peaceful place to get away from it all and there are many potential walks, bike and horse rides on the local footpaths and bridleways in the immediate area. A short walk away is the picture-postcard village of Bolton By Bowland with its two greens and 13th-century cross at the centre, a delightfully positioned church, excellent cafes and pub.

The areas surrounding Calder Farm are perfect for walking, biking, fishing, kayaking, caving, rock climbing and many more activities besides, with Pendle Hill, the Yorkshire three peaks, Gisburn Forest, Stocks Reservoir, Malham Cove and the Pennine Bridleway all close by. There are also many historic towns, charming villages, farm parks, and other visitor attractions to see as well as plenty of wonderful places to eat and drink.
