Laythams Holiday Lets Retreat offers luxurious self catering accommodation in Slaidburn, close to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Our properties in Lancashire are set in a breathtaking countryside location, perfect for a magical getaway. We are near Clitheroe and The Ribble Valley, the ideal base for visiting a range of local attractions.

The Lakehouse

Our Lakehouse retreat is based in 3 acres, boasting its own private lake and woodland. The house sleeps up to 7 people On the ground floor, we have an open place space with underfloor heating. The lounge has sofas, leather reading chairs, armchairs, a wood burner and a pouffe which offers lake views. A large TV comes with surround sound and there is Bluetooth connection. The well-equipped kitchen includes a double fridge/freezer with ice and chilled water function.

A sauna and wet room has a rain, handheld and plunge shower. On this floor, there is also a bedroom with a king bed and a single bed. The mezzanine floor has a master en suite room. Upstairs there is also a large double bedroom and a bathroom.

Outside there is a dining area with a BBQ for al fresco dining. You can soak yourself in the hot tub and there is an outside shower.

The Farmhouse

This farmhouse has been tastefully renovated to offer accommodation for up to 6 people plus 2. Inside there is a lounge with an open fire, large TV and sofas.

The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: an induction hob, built-in oven and combi-microwave, dishwasher and Belfast sink. There is a communal area with a dining table, pool table, sofa bed and shower room.

Bedrooms consist of 2 doubles and 1 twin room. Downstairs there is a double sofa bed in the games room.

The Cottage

Our cottage sleeps up to 3 people plus 2, great for a small family or couple. Inside we have a lounge with a TV and a luxury sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven/hob, slow cooker and Nespresso machine. Next to the kitchen is a dining table and chairs.

Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom and a single bedroom. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower/bath.

Outside we have a patio and a large communal yard which offers views across the Forest of Bowland. There is a BBQ for al fresco dining.

The Hayloft

We offer accommodation for up to 2 people, ideal for a romantic getaway. The property offers wonderful views over Bowland. The lounge comes with a log Bruner, seating and TV. There is a king-size bedroom with en suite facilities.

Outside there is a private terrace and BBQ, offering a great spot for a drink in the afternoon sun.

Lots of wonderful attractions are in the area for the whole family. Clitheroe and Skipton Castles are close by and you can savour the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. Head to Rossendale for dry-slope skiing or take a ride on the Bolton Abbey Steam Railway. Further attractions to visit include:
