Somercotes is a self catering holiday home sleeping 4 people, located on a quiet lane close to Sutterton, near Boston in Lincolnshire. Our holiday home is the ideal base for those who are looking for a relaxing break away.

The holiday accommodation consists of two double bedrooms, sitting room (with TV & DVD player), bathroom, kitchen and dining area. It is fully double glazed and cavity wall insulated. There are fitted carpets throughout. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two 3' single beds. An automatic washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and a full-size cooker are fitted. The kitchen is fully equipped for four people. The central heating is oil-fired and there is also a coal effect electric fire fitted in the sitting room. A telephone is installed for incoming calls only and a cot and highchair are available on request. There is a large gravelled driveway with ample parking for several cars.

Boston is the nearest local town (approx. 6 miles), with good shopping and many attractions. It has close links with the Pilgrim Fathers, who were imprisoned in the town in 1607. The cells and courtroom can be seen in the Guildhall, where there is also a virtual reality tour available of Boston in the 16th Century. Boston has a large open-air market most Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays there is an auction in Wide Bargate, selling produce and many other items. It is a good opportunity to see local people in a rural situation.
