Situated on the shores of Loch Lomond, our self-catering bunkhouse provides accommodation along the West Highland Way. Ideal for families and small groups, Balmaha Bunkhouse can host up to 12 guests. Please note, we regretfully cannot accommodate dogs or other pets and while there is no on-site parking, two nearby car parks are available.

Our bunkhouse features four bedrooms, including one ensuite, along with three bathrooms. A common room serves as a hub for socialising and includes a kitchen area and laundry facilities, complemented by a small drying room and outdoor seating. Each bathroom is equipped with a wash basin, shower and toilet. Additional amenities such as soap, shower gel and 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner are provided for your convenience. Adjacent to the entrance, there is an extra toilet available.

Relax in our comfortable common room, where tea and coffee are readily available. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob, oven, microwave, toasters, kettles and a fridge freezer. Laundry needs are met with a washer-dryer combo in the kitchen and a clothes line outdoors. Bedrooms are equipped with dehumidifiers and electric clothes dryers, ensuring your comfort.

For entertainment, the common room offers a selection of books, board games and a smart TV. The room's furniture and layout can be adjusted to suit the preferences of groups renting the entire bunkhouse.

Complimentary breakfast essentials include cereals, bread, butter, semi-skimmed milk and a variety of teas, coffees and hot chocolates. Soy milk is available upon request.

Located in the quaint village of Balmaha, on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond, we are less than an hour's drive from both Stirling and Glasgow. Balmaha offers a waterbus connection to Luss on the loch's west side, making it an ideal starting point for exploring Britain’s largest lake and its surrounding National Park.
