Beacon Park Cottages consists of three holiday cottages situated around Llanfoist Wharf on the picturesque Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal, close to Abergavenny. Once a thriving industrial hub, this private wharf is now a tranquil retreat within the Blaenavon World Heritage Site and the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. Situated on the wooded slopes of the Blorenge mountain, it offers a peaceful escape just a short walk from the vibrant market town of Abergavenny.

Dry Dock Cottage - Sleeps 2

Relaxing is effortless at Dry Dock Cottage, a stunning waterside retreat with spectacular views across its four open-plan levels. This former dry dock combines luxury and high-tech convenience, featuring a cinema snug with a 54” screen and surround sound, a king-size bed, a roll-top bath and a wet room with a spacious shower. The state-of-the-art gadgetry allows you to control heating, blinds, lighting and music at the touch of a screen. Bi-fold glass doors in the lounge area open directly onto the canal, bringing you even closer to the serene waters, ducks and passing boats. The terraced garden, complete with outdoor furniture, a parasol and a BBQ, is perfect for al fresco dining. Incline Cottage - Sleeps 2

This larch-clad cottage is the epitome of romance and luxury for two, set against a wooded backdrop with a canal-side terrace. Inside, a spacious bedroom boasts a king-size bed, a statement slipper bath and a cosy wood-burning stove. The panoramic views across the canal to the mountains are truly refreshing, whether enjoyed from the lounge or the bedroom. For ultimate relaxation, soak in the hot tub under the stars, complete with fluffy robes and slippers. The cottage is thoughtfully designed on one level, featuring a wet room with a large shower and outdoor amenities like a table, chairs, parasol and BBQ. Pets are welcome.

Wharfinger's Cottage - Sleeps 6

This beautifully renovated Grade II listed cottage, once home to the 19th-century wharf manager, is now a charming holiday retreat blending historic character with modern comfort. Spread over three floors, it offers a mix of spacious social areas and cosy corners for relaxation. The first-floor lounge provides stunning mountain views, while the ground-floor dining room opens directly onto a lawn bordering the canal. Gather around the wood-burning stoves in the lounge and dining room, enjoy relaxed meals, or plan your next adventure by the fire. With opportunities to fish in the canal, hike to the mountain summit, host a barbecue, or simply unwind on the lawn, there’s something for everyone. The cottage features a king-size bedroom with an en-suite, a versatile king-size/twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a family bathroom.
