Pen-y-Dre Farm is a working farm with a converted 17th Century Coach House, located in Llanfihangel Crucourney near Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, South Wales. It is an ideal holiday destination, particularly for families or groups eager to explore the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons or enjoy walks along the famous Offa’s Dyke Path.

Great care has been taken to preserve the character of the cottages, with many original features retained, such as the impressive oak beams and traditional stone walls, which together create a welcoming and authentic country atmosphere.

The living areas are located on the upper level, with stairs leading down to the bedrooms and bathroom, which open directly onto the farm courtyard. Each cottage sleeps four people plus cots and offers two bedrooms, a spacious open-plan living area and a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, electric cooker, fridge and other essentials. A dining table with chairs, a comfortable sofa and chairs, along with a Smart TV, complete the living space.

On the lower level there is one double bedroom and one twin room. The bathroom includes a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet, providing everything needed for a comfortable and practical stay.

There are many excellent inns and restaurants in the area, including some within walking distance that serve high-quality food. Among the best-known local restaurants are The Hardwick, The Walnut Tree and The Foxhunter, while village inns include The Skirrid Inn, The Pandy Hotel, The Rising Sun and The Old Pandy Inn, all of which serve good pub food, with The Skirrid Inn also hosting regular paranormal events. Nearby Monmouthshire offers plenty of attractions to explore, such as Abergavenny Museum, the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, Ysgyryd Fawr, the Big Pit National Coal Museum and Sugarloaf Vineyards.
