Maple Barns provides luxurious self catering accommodation in Swanton Morley. Nestled in a peaceful setting near Dereham, our 4 holiday homes are ideal for an unforgettable stay in Norfolk.

We have 3 barns and 1 holiday cottage to choose from, based around a quaint courtyard of a Victorian coach-house and a 19th Century cottage. Each of our properties is beautifully furnished and finished to a high standard to suit all your needs. Hedgehog Cottage has an enclosed garden to unwind in and all the barns have a private garden. All of our properties enjoy stunning views of farmland and come with garden furniture, ideal for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun over a glass of wine. There is also free use of small on site gym for guests.

All of our properties are brimming with character and come with wood burning stoves, traditional beams, modern bedrooms, high-spec bathrooms and fully-equipped kitchens.

Pheasant Barn – Sleep 4

Our barn comes with a double-sided wood-burning stove based between the kitchen and lounge, with French doors opening onto a patio area. Bedrooms consist of a king en suite and downstairs twin en suite, plus a WC.

Hare Barn – Sleep 5

Hare Barn offers a cosy lounge with a wood-burning stove and French doors that open onto the patio area. Bedrooms consist of a twin and single room that share a family shower room. You can soak away your troubles in the hot tub.

Owl Barn – Sleeps 4

Owl Barn comes with a double-sided wood-burning stove based between the kitchen and lounge, with French doors opening onto a patio area. Bedrooms consist of a four-poster en suite and a twin room. A family bathroom is also available.

Hedgehog Cottage – Sleeps 4

We provide luxurious accommodation in Hedgehog Cottage, offering a tranquil lounge area with a wood-burning stove and French doors that open onto the patio area. Upstairs there is a king and twin room. On the ground floor is a bathroom and a separate WC.

Visiting the Area

Our holiday homes are in an ideal location for outdoor lovers, with lots of scenic cycling and walking routes in the area, including the Peddar’s Way and the Nar Valley Way. Children can enjoy a fun day out at Dinosaur Park, whilst history fans should head to Castle Acre Priory. The whole family can have a great day out at Banham Zoo.
