Midthatch offers charming self catering in the pretty seaside village of Sea Palling. Our cottage is just 50 yards from a public footpath that crosses farmland and dunes to a sandy beach, perfect for an idyllic getaway in Norfolk.

Our cosy cottage backs onto a large arable field beyond which there are sand dunes, ideal for the a memorable coastal retreat. This traditional fisherman’s cottage has been beautifully restored to offer modern accommodation.

Inside there is a relaxing beamed sitting room with a large inglenook fireplace with original two-inch brickwork, comfy seating, a TV and soundbar and toasty wood-burning stove for the winter months. Rustle up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, slow cooker and toaster.

We have two bedrooms, a double room and a room with a double and single bunk. Both rooms share a shower room.

Outside we have a south-facing courtyard for al fresco dining and an outside tap and tin dog bath.

Whilst staying with us you can make the most of our fantastic location. Unwind on Sea Palling Beach which has a prestige Blue Flag. In the village, there is an amusement arcade, an ice cream parlour, a village shop and Post Office. You can also visit a Norfolk Wildlife reserve 5 miles away in Hickling.
