Dreamy Hollow Woodland Campsite
Details
Situated close to the North Norfolk Coast, Dreamy Hollow offers an idyllic escape into the tranquility of nature with our private woodland campsite. Wake up to the melodious chirping of birds, surrounded by the cool shade of oak trees and spend your days delving into the local delights before returning to the warmth of your campfire or the comfort of a hammock in the evening.
Our campsite, spread across 3.5 acres of protected woodland, features thirty distinct pitches, each with its own name, ensuring privacy and a cosy atmosphere without the feeling of being cut off. Choose from shaded pitches for those warmer days or opt for a sunnier spot if you prefer.
Embracing an “Almost Wild” camping experience, our amenities are intentionally minimal, including four flush toilets, two showers, a camping toilet disposal site, a cold water washing area and two potable water points. For those situated further within our 7.5 acres of woodland, we offer the Bunker with its camping toilet, along with additional camping toilets for hire.
Our site is perfect for those who love low-density woodland camping, offering exclusive pitches, some of which are perfect for hammock enthusiasts. We welcome up to two dogs per pitch by arrangement at no extra charge and allow campfires in provided Firebaskets without any rental fee. Additional tents or gazebos are welcome, provided they are set up safely regarding fire hazards.
Children under three can stay for free, and our site is designed to keep vehicles to a minimum, offering a car park and two spots for camper vans amidst our 30 pitches. These range in size, accommodating both individual adults and families, with spaces as large as 53m x 23m when combining certain pitches. There are 3 adult only pitches available as well.
For those arriving late, self check-in via the internet is available. A resident warden is always on site for assistance. Our site is traffic free.
Our campsite is a mere 6 miles from the stunning Brancaster Beach and offers a serene hour-long walk to The Duck at Stanhoe, known for its excellent cuisine and ales. Explore nearby walking and cycling paths, or delve into history with a tour of the WW1 Lovat Scout training trenches. For the adventurous, an archery range is available by booking directly with instructor Andy Beer. Other attractions to discover include:
Bircham Windmill.
Holkham Hall & Woodland Play Area.
Snettisham Park.
Norfolk Lavender.
