From our prime riverside location on the Norfolk Broads, you will enjoy one of the best holiday experiences in course fishing, bird spotting and observing the local wildlife. The tranquil setting allows you to take in the beauty of the natural surroundings while enjoying these activities. As you relax by the water, expect to see some river traffic, including yachts meandering past, the occasional traditional Broads wherry and motorboats taking a leisurely Sunday-style cruise.

Each of our holiday homes offers a living room with comfortable armchairs positioned behind large panes of glass, providing stunning, uninterrupted views of the River Bure in Horning. This peaceful retreat is perfect for those seeking rest and quiet enjoyment of the river. Additionally, many of our holiday cottages include accessible features, making them ideal for disabled guests and those with mobility impairments, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone.

Quayside Lodge - Sleeps 6

This lodge enjoys an enviable position on the banks of the main River Bure in Horning on the Norfolk Broads, offering views of the traditional riverside properties on a sweeping bend of the water. This discreetly wheelchair-accessible holiday home features a well-designed layout with one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a spacious toilet room, a separate wet shower room and convenient parking. Its prime location and thoughtful amenities make it an ideal retreat for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Horning Lodge - Sleeps 4

Horning Lodge shares a spacious 75ft lawn area with Riverside and Quayside Lodges, providing a scenic and relaxing outdoor space. Inside, the open-plan lounge and dining area feature a Freeview TV and free WiFi, seamlessly connecting to a well-fitted kitchen. Double doors in the lounge open onto a small riverside balcony and a comfortable patio area, which extends to the lawn and adjacent parking. The lodge offers two well-appointed bedrooms, a twin and a double, both with en-suite shower and toilet rooms, ensuring a comfortable and private stay.

Eagle Cottage - Sleeps 5 + Annexe 4

The accommodation includes a spacious lounge/dining area, a modern kitchen, a ground-floor bathroom, a separate cloakroom and ground floor, large king-size twin bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine and a dishwasher. A Smart TV with Freeview Play and fast WiFi provide entertainment. Upstairs, a double and single bedroom lead to a sun terrace balcony, though the steep stairs are only suitable for agile guests due to fire safety. A self-contained annexe (available Easter to late October) offers two additional bedrooms (one kingsize bedroom and one twin room), both with en-suite facilities. The outdoor space features a variety of seating, including sun loungers, benches and a picnic table.

Riverside Lodge - Sleeps 6

This lodge accommodates features an open-plan kitchen and living area. A kitchen door at the rear provides access to the road via steps. The layout includes a double bedroom with an en-suite toilet and shower, a twin bedroom with a washbasin and a second twin bedroom. A shared toilet and shower room are also available. Parking for up to three cars is located just 30 metres away. This lodge shares a 75ft lawn area with Quayside & Horning Lodges.

Kate's Lodge - Sleeps 2-3

Kate's Lodge is a cosy individual retreat with a private lawn on one side and main river frontage. The lounge/dining area features comfortable seating, a Freeview Smart TV and free WiFi. The fitted kitchen includes an electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board. The lodge has one double bedroom with an electric safe and a single bedroom, both sharing a toilet/shower room. A large glass door opens onto a small balcony overlooking the lawn and river, offering ample fishing space, with five steps leading down to ground level. Parking for one car is adjacent to the lodge.

Lady Lodge - Sleeps 4

Lady Lodge has an open-plan lounge and dining area, featuring wood flooring throughout, including the kitchen. The space includes a Freeview TV, free WiFi and a well-equipped modern kitchen for a comfortable stay. The living area opens onto a riverside balcony and lawn overlooking the main river. The twin bedroom, furnished with double beds, has an en-suite toilet with a floor-level shower, while the king-size bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom with twin washbasins, a step-free wet-room shower, a corner bath and a toilet with drop-down handrails for added accessibility.

Course fishing closed season runs from 15 March to 15 June and after that a Fishing licence is required that can be purchased locally.

All of the lodges are open from March - November. Eagle Cottage is also open at Christmas.
