Castaway Cottage offers charming self-catering accommodation in the peaceful village of Itteringham, set in a beautiful rural location. Surrounded by a wildlife-friendly garden and with a gentle stream running nearby, the cottage provides a truly tranquil escape. It’s also ideally situated for exploring the best of Norfolk, from its scenic countryside and coastline to its historic towns and attractions.

Castaway Cottage has been finished and furnished to a high standard. It will sleep 6 people very comfortably but is equally cosy for 2 or 4.

The cottage comprises a large kitchen and dining area, shower-room and lounge downstairs with electric log fire. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Farrow and Ball colours have been used to decorate internally and very good quality soft furnishings and furniture have been provided to create a stylish yet very cottagey feel.

This cosy, home from home is in such a tranquil spot that any time of year is a good time to visit to appreciate what every season has to offer.

IItteringham is a small, unspoilt, north Norfolk rural village with shop, cafe, Post Office and pub of repute, the Walpole Arms. Locally there are other good pubs, restaurants, antique centres, historic houses, nature reserves, markets and individual shops. There is a shop and pub within walking distance.
