St Edmundsbury is a comfortable and homely bed and breakfast in Old Costessey, opposite St Edmund's church. The B&B stands in a large, attractive garden and enjoys views of the Wensum Valley. Old Costessey is a great base from which to explore Norfolk and is within all amenities that the historical city of Norwich has to offer. In addition to this, there are local pubs and some excellent fishing spots within comfortable walking distance of the property.
guests have a choice of 8 rooms at the B&B, most of which are on the ground floor. We have doubles, twins and one family room available, all of which have been thoughtfully appointed to ensure guests are comfortable during their stay. Room amenities include:

Guests are welcome to enjoy spending time in our well-tended garden. This is accessed through the French doors in our guest lounge. Patio furniture is provided.
Breakfast is included within the room rate and is served in our dining room. Please advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements. If you would like to have a takeaway meal in an evening, you are welcome to eat this in the dining room.
We have eight golf courses within a 20-minute radius, along with some beautiful countryside. Old Costessey contains some of the oldest houses in the area and the two local pubs are popular with both the villagers and visitors to the area. A warm and friendly atmosphere ensures our guests return to us time and time again.
Our B&B is also ideal for the Norfolk Broads, one of the UK's most picturesque stretches of waterway. It is possible to find our B&B most conveniently on three modes of transport: the train to Norwich railway station (then a taxi), by road, and a boat from Great Yarmouth, Wroxham or from other places on the Broads. If you are having a break from a day's sailing and wish to stay overnight in our palatial B&B, give us a try.
