Rose Cottage Farm is a working farm that offers two self catering holiday cottages. They can be booked together to accommodate 4 people. The farm is within Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe which is a central location for accessing nearby Thirsk. This is the perfect spot for exploring this area of North Yorkshire which includes the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Briar Cottage

Briar Cottage is a charming, beamed cottage with a spacious ground-floor bedroom featuring a super-king bed dressed in Bedeck linens, plus a separate bathroom with both bath and shower. Upstairs, an open-plan lounge-diner looks out over the patio, pergola and surrounding countryside, while a newly refurbished kitchen, screened by a rustic oak beam, offers a full-size oven and hob, microwave, fridge with 3-star freezer compartment and generous storage.

Bramble Cottage

This characterful, beamed cottage offers a ground-floor bedroom with a king-size Bedeck-dressed bed and en-suite shower, while upstairs an open-plan lounge-diner adjoins a fully equipped kitchen with full-size oven, hob, microwave and fridge with 3-star freezer compartment. From the lounge, panoramic views sweep across the Vale of York to the distant Pennines.

Visiting the Area

There is a wide range of activities to enjoy in this area from walking the Cleveland Way through to pony trekking at the Boltby Pony Trekking Centre. Thirsk is a short drive away. 2 well behaved dogs by arrangement, £10 per dog, per stay. Please note, dogs are not allowed on the furniture or the beds. Dog owners please bring their own pet towels as the cottages are fully carpeted.

Young children are welcome by arrangement. Babies and infants in cots or a small child on a put-up bed, please enquire.
