Cawder Hall Cottages provide comfortable and relaxing self-catering accommodation within a semi-rural location that is only 1 mile from the centre of Skipton in North Yorkshire.

Each of our individual holiday cottages have been lovingly restored from traditional working farm buildings. The self-catering accommodation provides guests with a home from home. Yorkshire stone and exposed beams are featured in each of our English country cottages. Yet the self-catering accommodation is fully fitted out with all the modern facilities that you would expect from traditional Yorkshire holiday cottages.

At the forefront of the complex, there is a 1-acre field that is available for recreational purposes for our guests. There are strategically placed picnic tables with fixed benched seats so guests can fully enjoy the vast acres of panoramic scenery. There are several seating and garden areas near the cottages for guests to relax. There is an orchard with fruit trees and soft fruit bushes.

Barbeques are available upon request.

There is a communal laundry with two washing machines and a tumble dryer also there are a few places for line-drying laundry. Within the laundry, there is a payphone facility. We have a good reception for mobile phones. We can offer cycle storage and extra freezer space upon request. We provide free of charge cots with bedding and highchairs and Z beds for selected cottages.

We pride ourselves on our self-catering accommodation and provide each of our holiday cottages with a welcome pack, bottle of wine and fresh flowers prior to our guests' arrival.

Skipton better known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’ is surrounded with the most captivating countryside and moorland nestled within miles of dry stone, walls. This can be fully enjoyed by car, foot or cycle. Skipton town has a host of quality shops, cafés and restaurants and is also home to the lively street market and not forgetting Whittakers the famous chocolatiers a must for any girl. Standing predominantly at the top of the high street is Skipton Castle and a medieval church.
