The Old School Bunkhouse offers comfortable accommodation in Chapel-le-Dale, just 4.5 miles from Ingleton. Nestled in glorious countryside at the foot of Ingleborough and Whernside, we are ideal for a peaceful stay in North Yorkshire.

We can sleep up to 26 people in 6 bunks rooms. On the ground floor, there are 5 bunk rooms, including 2 rooms that sleep 2, 1 room that sleeps 6 and 2 rooms that sleep 5. On the first floor is a sixth bunk room. All mattresses, pillows and pillowcases are included.

On the ground floor, we have 5 bathrooms, including 3 with a shower, toilet and wash basin. A further bathroom with a shower and wash basin and a bathroom with a toilet and wash basin are also available.

We have a well-equipped kitchen/diner that is perfect for big groups. Appliances include an oven, hob and grill, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwaves and toasters.

After a busy day exploring the area, relax in the lounge that comes with a sofa, TV, DVD player, board games and books. Outside there is a picnic area, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Our bunkhouse is perfect for discovering all that the area has to offer, including lots of countryside walking and cycle routes. You can attempt the 3 Peaks Walk or visit the Ribblehead Viaduct, just a short walk from us. Attractions to visit include:

White Scar Caves.

Ingleton Waterfalls Trail.

The Ingleborough Show Cave.

Beezley Falls.

Baxenghyll Gorge.
