Cliff Stud Retreat is a 220-acre stud farm located just outside Helmsley at the foot of the North Yorkshire Moors. Here you will find Freespirit Glamping, a luxury glamping site. Situated off a quiet country lane leading directly into the Moors, our site offers breathtaking views and a serene environment. Kick off your shoes, relax with a beer, roast marshmallows over the BBQ and watch the sun go down.

Our ethos centres on family, fun and simple living amidst nature. Our off-grid glamping site features tents equipped with a king-sized bed and two air beds, comfortably accommodating a family of four (extra air beds available). Enjoy your private shower, compost toilet, drinking water supply and washing up facilities. Each tent boasts excellent views of the hills, perfect for sunsets, dark skies and soaking in the tranquillity of the North Yorkshire countryside.

Turn right from Freespirit Glamping and you'll find yourself in the heart of the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Turn left, and you'll be in the charming ancient market town of Helmsley, with its array of shops, pubs, cafes and tourist attractions. The seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay are all within an hour's drive. The historic city of York, with attractions like York Minster and the Jorvik Viking Centre, is just 40 minutes away.
