The Calf Pens is a self catering holiday home, situated on a farm just outside of Masham in North Yorkshire. Our holiday cottage is only a short drive from Ripon, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is a haven for walkers, wildlife enthusiasts and cyclists as we are also on the route of the Tour de France.

Our cosy holiday cottage can sleep up to 4 people and has been tastefully decorated and furnished to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. There is a good sized living room that has a log burner, TV and DVD player as well as a selection of books, cards and games for you to enjoy during your stay. There is also a dining table that can comfortably seat 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils you might need during your stay and a welcome pack will be waiting for you upon your arrival.

The bedrooms can be made up as 2 doubles or 4 singles depending on your requirements, please specify at the time of booking. All linen, electricity and logs are included.

Being so close to Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Dales means makes us a walker’s paradise. There are numerous beautiful walks that start from the front door of the holiday cottage that go through fields, a wetlands conservation area and along riversides. The holiday cottage is only a short drive from local abbeys, castles and beautiful gardens such as Harlow Carr, Bolton Abbey or Skipton Castle.
