Tan Hill Inn at Tan Hill boasts a superb site high in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We are one of Britain's public houses situated 528 metres above sea level. It's a great base for those wishing to explore the many attractions North Yorkshire has to offer. Being situated within the National Park the area is a haven for walkers.
We are pleased to offer classically decorated bedrooms with comfortable beds and modern en suite facilities. Each guest bedroom also has a television (Freeview) and tea / coffee making facilities. All non smoking. Free Wi-Fi is available but we do ask for a small donation to our monthly charity. We have seven well appointed guest rooms, two double, five twins and a trip room, bunk rooms and camping.
At our inn we serve great but simple food in fantastic cordial surroundings. Our menu combines hearty dishes that cater for everyone, with all year round favourites. An ideal excuse to share time with friends, or make new ones in the World Famous Tan Hill Inn against the back drop of the wonderful Swaledale landscape near Keld.
We are very proud to host and where ever possible, support local breweries to get the very best ‘ales from the dales‘ found at the highest pub in Britain. Some are actually brewed for us alone. We have a large range of bottled ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks.
The inn is a great base for walkers and cyclists wishing to explore the area. We are within an hour of many interesting towns and attractions including Richmond and Barnard Castle. The views from the in are superb with the area boasting some of the most stunning scenery in the UK.
