Slate Rigg Farm offers charming self catering accommodation near Ripley, based in a picturesque countryside location. We are perfect for a tranquil break in North Yorkshire whilst being only a 10-minute drive to Harrogate.

Our cottages are nestled in a mixed arable farm where you can see cattle and sheep dotted around our fields. We truly offer a little slice of heaven in this glorious setting.

Bramble Cottage: This delightful one bedroomed cottage is great for a relaxing countryside retreat. The cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. A well-equipped kitchen is great for cooking up a feast. A lovely sitting/dinning room comes with a comfy sofa, dining table and chairs and offers glorious views over the green fields. Facilities include a TV and DVD player. The shower room has a large shower with a WC and a heated towel rail.

Buttercup Cottage: Our wonderful cottage is slightly large than Brambles and comes with a double en suite bedroom and a single bedroom with a house bathroom. The cottage is ideal for a group getaway in the country. In the same way as Bramble, this cottage offers fabulous, homely comforts including feather and down quilts. Outside there is a patio area with garden furniture, great for a glass of fizz whilst enjoying the stunning views.

Both cottages have access to the Boot Room which houses a washer, dryer and freezer. There are also drying/storing facilities for wet clothes/boots etc.

We are based in a peaceful setting but still accessible to an array of bustling towns around us. Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon are only 15 minutes away, whilst York, Leeds and Skipton are 40 minutes away. You can visit the majestic Ripley Castle and its beautiful gardens. Harewood House and Bird Garden is famous for its spectacular architecture and magnificent interiors, whilst Brimham Rocks is great for seeing amazing wildlife.
