Morton House in Masham offers luxurious self catering accommodation in two adjoining properties. Nestled in a the heart of this pretty market town, about 10 miles from Ripon and 20 miles from Harrogate in North Yorkshire, you will have easy access to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Nidderdale, the North York Moors National Park, and the Lake District.

We have two fabulous properties available, Morton House and The Stable block. Both properties come with everything you need for an unforgettable getaway and can be booked together, ideal for large family gatherings or a special occasion - or separately for smaller guest numbers.

Morton House: Our magnificent 17th Century Grade II Listed house is great for a family or group holiday in the idyllic Yorkshire Dales countryside. The property sleeps up to 10 people in 4 spacious bedrooms (3 bathrooms) and an additional roll-away bed. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a large super king brass bed, plus a double room. Both rooms share a bathroom. A 3rd bedroom features a twin en suite and tucked away in the loft is a huge master suite which a king-size bed, single day bed, en suite bathroom and a roll-top bath.

Wonderful features in the house include gorgeous, exposed beams, an open fireplace and a brilliant farmhouse kitchen/diner which is great for home-cooking. Two elegant reception rooms are available, a formal sitting room with chesterfield sofas and a more informal sitting room with flat screen TV and full Sky package. The shared garden is walled, private and perfect for a relaxing with your loved ones.

The Stable Block: This charming cottage sleeps 2 – 6 guests, offering a truen home away from home. This beautifully converted 18th Century cottage includes a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy open-plan dining/sitting room with a large flat-screen TV with Sky.
