The Gallery B&B offers guest accommodation in the village of Grosmont, set in the beautiful North York Moors. We are based near Whitby and a great base for exploring the area.

We offer luxury accommodation, a great stop off for Pullman diners on the steam train or walkers on the Wainwright Coast to Coast walk which passes through the village. In total, we have 5 elegant bedrooms to choose from which all enjoy an individual feel and adorned with Chris Geall large oil paintings. Facilities in each room includes a wide screen TV and hot beverage making facilities.

Lease Rigg: This spacious super king en suite bedroom can be made into a twin and enjoys views over the steam trains crossing the bridge.

Fairhead: Our large super king en suite room can be made in a twin and offers glorious views over the Esk Valley Railway.

Murk Esk: This spacious super king en suite room can be made into a twin and enjoys views over the Murk Esk.

Lamplands: Our large king-size en suite bedroom boast a magnificent roll-top bath to soak yourself in.

Bridestone: This super king bedroom can be made into a twin and there is an adjoining private bathroom.

You can savour a fantastic breakfast in our large lounge/kitchen area which has a communal seating area which leads to the balcony area. Breakfast is served between 7.30am to 9.30am, with fresh and locally sourced produce provided. A selection of cereal, fresh berries and yogurt are also available.

Grosmont and the Esk Valley offers picturesque cycles routes and gorgeous walking routes includes the Esk Valley Walk. The quaint fishing town of Whitby is nearby and home to the renowned Abbey and Whalebone Arch, the East and West Piers, St. Mary’s Church and the 199 Steps. You can also visit the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants or unwind on the sandy beach. Attractions to visit include:
